The Kingdom of Eswatini

Reaching A Country

We are on a mission to be within walking distance of every rural orphaned and vulnerable child in the Kingdom of Eswatini. One community at a time, we are placing hope within the reach of rural Swazi’s, changing the trajectory of this little nation with the highest HIV rate in the world.

Since 2006, Partners in Action has been working with local partners, Challenge Ministries Swaziland to transform the once abandoned mining town of Bulembu into a self-sustaining community that provides loving family-based homes for orphaned and vulnerable children in Eswatini.

Transforming A Nation

Through Challenge Ministries Swaziland, we believe the nation of Eswatini can be transformed within a single generation. We can put hope within the reach of every orphaned and vulnerable child within the next 5 years, deploy economic strategies that provide real economic opportunities for adults in rural communities, and begin the lifelong journey to rebuilding family structures through discipleship and psychosocial assistance.

How much can a place change people? The impact of one unique place in the mountains of Swaziland on the people who are there is inestimable. It extends to those who arrive and stay in Bulembu, no matter how long their visit may be. The ongoing work of caring for orphans of all ages, running profit-making business operations to support and train them, and giving everyone a new model for a more hopeful future is nothing short of a miracle of ideas and opportunities brought together in true Christian love and service.
